Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Lee Meade Marshall, age 87, of Forest Street, Louisville, died Sunday morning, December 20, 2009, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 22, in the Louisville First Baptist Church with Larry Montgomery officiating.

Entombment services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 23, in the Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia.

A native of Dante, Virginia, Mrs. Marshall was a daughter of the late Henry & Rosa Mae Fields Meade. She taught school at Thomas Jefferson Academy for more than 30 years and was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel Alderson Marshall, and is survived by her son, Robert L. (Bob) Marshall and his wife Patty of Louisville, grandson, Robert Scott Marshall (U.S. Army) in Afghanistan, step-grand daughters, Melissa Stawicki, & Amanda Mullins, step-great granddaughter, Emilea Stawicki, several nieces, nephews & cousins.

The Marshall family may be contacted at the residence on Forest Street in Louisville.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests, those desiring, please make contributions to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering at Louisville First Baptist Church at 101 E. 9th St., Louisville, Georgia 30434.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 7:00PM, Monday December 21, 2009, at the funeral home.
