Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mrs. Frankie T. Davis who passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 12th.

She was born on March 9, 1943, to the parents of Frank and Mary Toole. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a family who loved her dearly including her devoted husband of 63 years, James Edward (J. E.) Davis, daughters, Dana D. Williams (Tim) and Meredith D. Johnson (Kenny). She was also a proud ‘Nana’ to Justin Williams (Bri), Clint Williams (Kittie), Mason Johnson (Calleigh), and Logan Johnson (Austin), along with 2 great-grandchildren, Chanley Johnson and Knox Williams, whom she adored.

Other family members include very dear friends, Warren and Angela Smith, as Angela was a lifelong friend and a 'chosen’ sister.

Family was everything to Frankie. Her love and devotion to her husband and children was immeasurable. She enjoyed watching her family grow over the years and took pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nothing brought Frankie more joy than having her family together for weekend cookouts and holiday celebrations.

Frankie was a member of the Louisville Methodist Church, Joe Gay Sunday School Class, Ruby Thomas Women’s Group, Bill Newberry Helping Hands Mission, and the Monday Night Bible Study Group. Her church family was very important to her.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 17th at Louisville Methodist Church, 301 W 7th Street, Louisville, GA. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm with the service following at 3:00 pm in the church. Graveside burial will be held immediately following in the Louisville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren: Justin Williams, Clint Williams, Mason Johnson, Austin Dykes and sons-in-law: Tim Williams and Kenny Johnson.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Crescent Hospice and Wellstar MCG Health, and Miss Mae Kelly. Your compassion meant more to our family than words can express.

Flowers will be accepted by Taylor Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Louisville Methodist Church, 301 W 7th Street, Louisville, GA.
