Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and service of Barbara Ann Clark, age 73, of Avera, who died Friday, May 1, 2026, at her home.

A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2078 Usry Road in Avera, Ga 30810.

Barbara was born in Louisville and was a daughter of Howard Curtis Clark and Dorothy Ann Kitchens Clark. She graduated from Wrens High School and retired from the shipping department at J.M. Huber (now KaMin). Barbara loved animals, was a devoted Christian who read and studied her Bible, and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Avera. She was a very loving, hospitable person who made people feel welcome when they came to see her, but she also enjoyed time to herself.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Mary Beasley (Earl); niece, Sandy Beasley; nephew, Clint Beasley; great-nephews, Cam Beasley and Baylor Beasley; great-nieces, Morgan Beasley and Avery Beasley; great-great-niece, Layla Ray; aunts, Betty Caviness and Juanice Clark and many cousins and friends.
