He was a devoted servant of the Lord, a passionate follower of Christ who was never afraid to share his love for God with those around him. He worked hard and diligently in everything he set his mind to, creating an energetic and lively presence in his day-to-day life. He was best known for his servant’s heart, his strong work ethic, and his quiet strength. Whether caring for the grounds of his beloved church, repairing what needed fixing, or simply lending a helping hand, William served faithfully and wholeheartedly in all he did.

William was never one to seek attention, yet his dedication, kindness, and steady presence left a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know him. Not only did William deeply love Christ, but he also loved his church and had a genuine heart for helping those in need. Above all, however, he adored his wife, Victoria. Their marriage was a beautiful example of loyalty, commitment, compassion, and a friendship truly blessed by God. Mr. Bennett worked as a maintenance man for the City of Wadley. While his work here on earth may be complete, the legacy of his love, faith, and service will continue to live on through all whose lives he touched. He was proceeded in his death by his parents, William Theodore Bennett, Jr. and Bernice J. Perry Bennett and siblings and is survived by his wife Victoria Nesmith Bennett, son, William A. Bennett, Sister, Ruth Bishop, father-in-law, John Sanford Nesmith (Lindsey).

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Power Chapel the Oasis.
