Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Sharon Kitchens, age 70 of West Calhoun Street, Wadley, who died Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the University Hospital, Augusta, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2015 in the Wadley Baptist Church with Rev. Gene McCoy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wadley City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Mitchell McGraw, Randall Jones, Jeff Partridge, Kevin Maxwell, Adam Brett and Chris Calhoun.

A native of Dublin, GA, Mrs. Kitchens was a daughter of the late James Monroe & Corene Forth Carter.  She was a retired bookkeeper with the City of Wadley, was on the Board of Tax Assessors, and a member of the Wadley Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and husband; Frankie Kitchens, and is survived by her children:  Mike & Beth Bell of Garfield, Ange & Gordon Mays of Wadley, Pat & Heather Bell of Wrens, Tasha & Tim Smith of Wadley and Michelle Purvis of Louisville, grandchildren:  Rob Bell, Annie Mays, Bryson Bell, Hunter Bell, Sierra Rooks, Will Hall, Cody Todd and Britt Todd, and sister; Theresa & Rick Fountain of Jasper.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2015 in the Wadley Baptist Church.
