We were very saddened by the news of Mr. Tom's passing. Louisville has truly lost the best pharmacist this town has ever had. He went far and beyond the job to show this community how to love and care about people the way Jesus does. Our prayer is that we all could learn by his example and leave that kind of legacy. He will be truly missed. All of you will be in our prayers.

The Armistead family were great friends of my family when my sister, brother and I were children. I have vivid memories of Tom as the entertainer at many functions we attended. His lighthearted demeanor was a true asset, but later on he became great in so many other facets of his life. Earth has lost a fine servant in so many respects, but heaven has welcomed another one of God's children home.

THIS EARTH HAS LOST A GREAT MAN, BUT WE KNOW THAT HEAVEN WELCOMES HIM IN. WE HAVE KNOWN TOM AND HIS FAMILY MORE THAN 50 YEARS. LOTS OF FUNNY MEMORIES COME TO MIND. I ASKED HIM IF IT WOULD BE O.K. , A FEW MONTHS AGO, TO HAVE A TOM ARMISTEAD DAY IN LOUISVILLE. HE SAID, OH, NO, THERE'S NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT ME. WE ALL KNOW OTHERWISE DON'T WE ?

My sincerest condolences to the Armistead family on the loss of Mr. Tom. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him. This world has lost a wonderful, Godly, honest, loving Christian but his life has been well spent and his legacy will endure. One day we will all be dancing those streets of gold together and life will be as it should be once more. To God be the glory! And just this once in my life for him I will say..... Go Dawgs!!
