Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Jesse H. Lindsey, age 88 of 3881 Snider Road Gibson, Georgia, who died Saturday afternoon, October 3, 2015 in the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in the Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Mr. Jeremy Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille, Georgia. 

Mr. Lindsay was a native of Washington County, but had lived in Gibson for many years. He was a son of the late Jesse L. & Nancy Kitchens Lindsey. Jesse was a heavy equipment operator with Washington County for 23 years before retiring. 

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Edda Mae Snider Lindsey, brothers; Earl Lindsey, Harold Lindsey & Jimmy Lindsey, sister; Edna Laton and is survived by sons; Lamar Lindsey of Savannah, David Lindsey of Milledgeville, Danny Lindsey of Milledgeville and Rodney Lindsey of Winton, ND, sisters; Catherine Leveret of Sandersville and Rosa Lee Brown of Sandersville, step-daughters; Julia Williams of Gibson and Jennie Veazey of Gibson, step-son; John Snider of Gibson, 7 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. 

The Lindsey family will receive friend’s 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
