Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and private service of Mr. Thomas Benjamin “Benji” Kelly, III, 72 of Greensboro formerly of Louisville who died, Monday May 3, 2021 in Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Private graveside services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 4:00PM for family and close friends in the Louisville City Cemetery with Rev. Bill Cain officiating.
A native of Louisville, Benji was a son of the late Thomas Benjamin Kelly, Jr. and the late Rose Hall Kelly. He graduated from Louisville Academy and attended college at the University of Georgia. Benji had a love for cooking and catering throughout his life. He was the owner of Ben Ben’s Pecans and co-owner of Cindy Lutini’s Pasta for Life Catering Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Benjamin Kelly, Jr. and Rose Hall Kelly. He is survived by his long-time love, Cindy Ann Shultz of Greensboro, his son, Thomas “Tom” Benjamin Kelly, IV of Milledgeville, brother, John Patrick “Pat” Kelly (Susan) of Louisville, nephews, John Patrick Kelly, Jr. (Darya Sidorchyk) of Louisville, Patrick Benjamin Kelly of Louisville, nieces, Ashley Kelly Holly (Trent) of Wrens, Anna Grace Kelly of Louisville, Emma Pauline Kelly of Louisville, grandchildren Madison Rose Kelly of Linclonton, Makenzie Diane Kelly of Millen and Hunter James Kelly of Millen, and cousin, Arthur "Jan" Parker.
