Stephanie (Jones) Sanders

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and graveside services of Mrs. Stephanie Jones Sanders, age 54, of Sand Valley Road Louisville who died Wednesday afternoon May 13, 2020 at her residence.

Graveside services with social distancing guidelines observed will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 16, 2020 in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Bro. Preston Calhoun officiating.

A native of Jefferson County, Stephanie was the daughter of the late Roland O. Jones, Jr. & the late Janie Peebles Jones. Stephanie was a homemaker and dedicated mother first & foremost. She treasured her children & grandchildren & embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and made friends everywhere she went. Stephanie attended Word Aflame Pentecostal Church. She loved the Lord and her Church family was very special to her.

Stephanie is also preceded in death by her son, Colton K. Sanders, brother, Vincent T. Jones and is survived by her husband of 36 years, Kenneth Sanders of Louisville; son, Brandon Sanders and his wife Brandy of Louisville, daughter Priscilla Johnston and her husband Jim of Tennille; Grandchildren, Tucker Sanders, Nevaeh Sanders, Levi Johnston, Kaitlin Sanders, Luke Johnston and Brooklyn Sanders; sister, Jennifer Dowdy of Matthews, brother, Paul Jones of Wrens, sister-in-law, Tracie Jones of Avera; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends following the graveside services Saturday at the cemetery.
