Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Rocky Dewayne McDaniel, age 64, of Duluth who died Tuesday evening in the Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Decatur.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday April 1, 2023, in the Jefferson County Memorial Gardens.

A native of Atlanta, Mr. McDaniel was a son of the late Forest Bastin McDaniel & Gaynell Elizabeth McDaniel Lord. He was a Army veteran and for many years he worked in construction as a home framer and was a member of Peachtree Road Baptist Church in Suwanee.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sherry Ann Taylor, brother, Forrest (Trooper) McDaniel, and is survived by daughter, Jessica McDaniel, of Moultrie, brothers, Joe & Linda McDaniel of Bethlehem, & Donnie Lord, of Warner Robins, sisters, Dixie Payne, of Nicholson, Gennie McCron, of Duluth, sister in-law, Sybil McDaniel of Monroe, 2 grandsons, Treyvon McDaniel, Ryan McDaniel many nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 1, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
