Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mr. Robert Marshall, age 78 of Louisville, who died Friday, February 5, 2021 in the MCG Hospital.

Inurnment services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, VA. Because of the family’s concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is encouraged.

A native of Dante, VA, Bob was the son of the late Sam Alderson Marshall and Virginia Mead. He was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church, Jefferson County Historical Society, and Pinetuckey Gun Club.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife, Patty Jo Marshall, son, Robert Scott Marshall of Dahlonega, stepdaughters, Amanda Ellen Mullins of Maidens, VA., Melissa Lea Fleming (Mitchell) of Pound, VA., grandchild, Canyon, Arbor, step-granddaughter, Emilea Jo-Ellen Vernon (Tyler), several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home prior to services.
