Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Lucas Paul “Luke” Stickle, age 50 of Bartow, Georgia who died Friday evening February 23, 2018.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Old Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Fincher and Rev. Tom Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartow City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rusty Russell, Gary R. Salter, John W. Davis Jr., Kyle Anderson, Thomas Story III, Clay Neal, and Charles Cohen.
A native of Denville, NJ, Luke is the son of George Wesley Stickle and Paula Meadows Stickle of Bartow. He was a 1986 graduate of Thomas Jefferson Academy and attended Swainsboro Technical College. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Bartow.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Sherri Westman of Bartow, his parents; son, Jacob Paul Stickle (Katherine) of Moxley; daughters, Jessica Stickle Powell (Matthew) of Bartow, and Logan Davidson of Metter; sisters, Faith Stickle of Bartow, Joy Stickle Timms, of Wrens, and Grace Stickle Smith (Clay) of Sandersville; grandmother Grace Meadows Fiscus of Louisville; granddaughters; Sydney Powell and Layla Powell, grandsons; Ayden Powell and Grayson Powell, several nieces, nephews and friends.
The Stickle family will receive friends Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
