Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mr. Leone Cabrera Ortiz, age 77 of Louisville who died Thursday, August 17, 2023, at his home.

A funeral mass will be said 11:00 AM Saturday August 26, 2023, in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Louisville with Father John Wright serving as Celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date in Las Lomas, Jalisco Mexico

Leonel was a native of Las Lomas, Jalisco Mexico, the late Geronimo Cabrera and Josefina Ortiz. He was employed with his family at Las Lomas Mexican Restaurant in Louisville.

Mr. Ortiz was preceded in death by his parents, wife Maria Garcia Padilla, and his son Leonel Cabrera Garcia and is survived by daughters, Maria Cabrera Garcia, of Augusta, Rose Cabrera Garcia, of Augusta, Esmeralda Cabrera Garcia, of Louisville, & Elodia Cabrera Garcia, of California, sons, Jose Cabrera Garcia of Louisville, & Juan Cabrera Garcia, of Louisville, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews & friends.

A funeral vigil will be 6:00 PM Friday evening at Taylor Funeral Home in Louisville with Father John Wright.
