Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Judy Tapley, age 83 of Highway 17 south Louisville, who died Thursday afternoon October 28, 2021, in the Pruitt Health of Old Capital.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday November 3, 2021, in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville with Rev. David Severance officiating. Burial will follow in the Lambs Cemetery in Swainsboro.

Judy was a native of Staunton, VA but had lived in Louisville for many years. She had worked many years in the Textile industry and was a member of the Louisville Church of God.

Mrs. Tapley was preceded in death by her parents Russell Franklin Knicely & Ruth Virginia Kirby Knicely her husband, Colan Tapley, a daughter, Debra Ann Tapley, two sons John Richard Tapley & Andrew Colan Tapley, and a sister, Shelby Jene Quade and is survived by Son & daughter in-law, Ronald W. & Ronette Tapley of Dayton, OH., several grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

The Tapley family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
