Jill Summerson Bennett

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and Funeral services of Mrs. Jill Summerson Bennett, age 77, of Ringgold, GA., formerly of Louisville, GA., who peacefully passed away and entered her new home in Heaven on January 16th, 2020. 

Jill will be laid to rest in Louisville, GA on Sunday, January 19th, 2020.  The family will receive visitors at Taylor Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Jefferson County Memorial Gardens immediately following visitation.

Jill was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Robert Bennett, her father, William Summerson, and her mother, Ella Summerson.

She was the beloved mother of Michael (Kimberly) Bennett, JoLynn Bennett, and Eric (Kelley) Bennett and the very proud grandmother of Ashli (Jason) Godwin, Justin (Skyler) Bennett, Mia Bennett and Abbey Bennett. She had a special place in her heart for her great grandchildren, Jackson and Bennett.

Jill retired from her nursing career after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease more than 10 years ago and endured the debilitating effects of the disease with grace and dignity. She will be missed.
