Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. Jerry Chance, age 65 of Gene Purvis Road Bartow, who transitioned peacefully into rest Thursday morning at University Hospital Augusta.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
A native of Louisville, Jerry was a graduate of Wadley High School. He was the owner and operator of Lewis’ Lake Restaurant in Bartow, and a devoted member of Parkers United Methodist Church.
Jerry is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Madelyn & Billy McKenzie, father and stepmother, Wiley & Margie Chance, brother and sister in-law, Eddie & Brenda Chance, nephew, Brian Brantley Jr. and is survived by his partner, Richard Kelnhofer, furbabies, Tater, Sadie, Butter, Ace, brother, Willis & Janie McKenzie, Jojo & Margaret McKenzie, nieces, Liza & Juan Chance-Rivas, Stephanie & Derek Horton, Kimberly & Dylan Hall, Caitlin & Josh Williams, nephew, Eddie & Stephanie Chance, Aunt, Rosa Hill, and several great nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
