Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Greggory David Barnhart “Sylvester”, age 55, of Wrightsville, Georgia, who entered into rest Sunday, February 23, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Barnhart was born in Eastman, Georgia and is the son of Joyle and Jerry Barhnart. He lived most of his life between Jefferson County and Richmond County until he settled down in Wrightsville with his fiancé Laurie Joshephen Grimes. He was a carrier driver and loved the road. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, for him there was no in between because his friends were his family. When he was home he could be found with what he considered his extended family, Jeffery and Violet Grimes, their children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his parents; his fiancé, Laurie Grimes of Bartow, son, Kenneth Charles Barnhart, step children; Chandler Howard and Laurie Anabella Grimes; brothers; Sam Sheffield, Robert Barnhart and Jonathan Barnhart, sister Melody Barnhart Hege and several nieces, nephew and friends.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Taylor Funeral Home.
The family will gather Tuesday and Wednesday at the home of Jeff and Violet Grimes, 1045 Tarver Grove Church Road, Bartow, Ga. 30413.
