Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Nancy Eulawynne Daniel Kitchens, age 83 of Gibson who died Sunday afternoon October 3, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday October 7, 2021, in the Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Don Widener, Rev. Mary Griswell, & Mr. Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Roberts, Jr., Levy Swint, Reid Rhodes, Tony Williams, Craig Davis & J.D. Chapman.
A native of Mitchell Eulawynne was born on March 9, 1938, a daughter of the later Marvin Hester Daniel & Lurlean Kent Daniel. The family moved to Wrens in 1946. She was a 1956 graduate of Wrens High School. She was a seamstress for many years working for Stapleton Garment, Gibson Garment and Thomson Company before retiring from Forstmann & Company in Louisville as a cloth inspector after several years of service. After retiring she worked part time with Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson and Gibson Health and rehab. She was a long-time member of Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday School.
Eulawynne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby Kenneth Kitchens, sister, Margaret Eloise Williams, four brothers, Roy, Tommy, Terry & Darry Daniel and is survived by, son, Dean Reese of Gibson, daughter & son in-law, Michelle & John Williamson, of Andalusia, AL, sister, Janice Phillippe, of Bryon Center, MI., grandchildren, Jonathan & Nikki Garrett, Ashley & Jared Armstrong, great grandchildren, Luke & Levi Garrett & Judson Armstrong.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday October 6, at the funeral home.
