Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Dennis A. Turner, Jr., who died Saturday, October 28, in Augusta.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 2, 2023, in the Gibson First Baptist Church with Rev. Craig White officiating, and Mr. Lance McCloud speaking.  Burial will follow in the Mitchell City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Ferguson, Mike Russell, Gary Walton, Doug Winters, Ray Walling, Barney Walling, Greg Williamson, and Kevin Otjen.

A native of Augusta, Mr. Turner was the son Carol Storey McCarthy. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and a member of Gibson First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife Margie Turner, a son Dennis Turner, III of Mitchell, daughters Gabrielle Billows of Augusta, Allison Turner of Mitchell, and Macie Lacua of Grovetown, his mother Carol McCarthy of Harlem, sisters Donna Palmer of Martinez and Bettie Evans of Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The Turner family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church, Thursday, November 2.
