Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Cristal Faye Clark, age 34 of Milledgeville died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Piedmont Hospital in Athens, Georgia following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be held at the Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Mitchell, on Thursday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mary Griswell officiating, followed by a brief visitation of friends and family in the fellowship hall. Service can be viewed on the Taylor Funeral Home website at www.taylorfhlouisville.com Because of the family’s concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is encouraged.
Born in Gibson, Georgia, she was the daughter of Tracy Clark and the late Ray Clark Jr, both of Gibson. Ms. Clarke graduated from Glascock High School in 2004 and attended Georgia Military College. She was employed by Amici Italian Café for the past 11 years, working in both Milledgeville and Lake Oconee, Georgia.
She is survived by her partner of 9 years, Jon Joiner and their son Andrew Joiner, both of Milledgeville, her mother, Tracy Clark of Gibson, her grandmother Faye Walden of Mitchell, her Aunt, Uncle and Cousin Clay, Kim and Thomas Walden of Mitchell.
If so desired because of Cristal’s love of animals, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal rescue shelter of one’s choosing.
