Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Brice Deriso, age 73, of Old Highway 1 Wadley who died Monday evening at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 16, 2021, in Moxley United Methodist Church with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Moxley United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mitch Johnson, Ernie Daniel, Kay Johnson, Cody Dudley, Josh Arrington, and Tyler Durden.
Mr. Deriso was a son of the late Walter Brice Deriso, Sr., and Millard Sheppard Deriso. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam war and retired from Thermo-King after more than 30 years of service as a Machinist. Brice greatest pastime was spending time with his family & friends.
Brice was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Jonathan Deriso, and survived by his wife, Stella Deriso of Wadley, daughter, Michelle (Andy) Newman of Swainsboro, son, Walter Brice (Staci) Deriso III of Wadley, brothers, Skeet (Annie) Deriso of Wadley, Johnny (Tracy Raines) Deriso, sisters, Martha Ann (Tom) Reese of North Augusta, SC, Gloria Ellison of Waynesboro, along with 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Deriso family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday July 15, at the funeral home.
