Annette Elizabeth Smith Livingston Obituary

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Annette Elizabeth Smith Livingston, age 88, who died Monday evening, December 28th, at home surrounded by her family.

A private Memorial Service will be held for the family.

A native of Bartow, Annette was the daughter of George Battle Smith and Myrtle Elizabeth Palmer Smith. She was a graduate of Louisville Academy, a bookkeeper and secretary for the Louisville Shirt Factory, the Farm Bureau Association, Hardeman Seed & Co., and the Ogeechee Oil Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Louisville and later of Providence Baptist Church.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Livingston was preceded in death by her husband, John Marion Livingston, III, and son John Marion Livingston, IV. She is survived by sister Betty Smith Cooper of Bartow; daughter Peggy Livingston and son-in-law Colin Martin of Atlanta; grandchildren Ron, Jr. and Krissa Livingston of Louisville; Galen Martin of Winder; Neal Livingston of Louisville; Molly Livingston of Atlanta; Dustin and Jessica Livingston of Hephzibah; Benjamin and Christine Rambo-Martin of Atlanta; Mackenzie Martin of Milton; and Harrison Martin and fiancée Gabrielle Dahl of Auburn, Georgia. Her great-grandchildren include Jackson, Owen and Kate Martin of Winder; Bella Livingston and Logan and Lance Newsome of Louisville; Ryan and Dean Livingston of Hephzibah; Alice Rambo-Martin of Atlanta; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Livingston wished that in lieu of flowers, memorials in her name be made to the Ovarian Cancer Institute, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ovarian Cancer Institute
