Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Alvin Brett Radford, 35, of Aiken, South Carolina, formerly of Wadley, who died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2021, in Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Louisville with interment in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Alvin was native of Wadley and was the son of Alvin Blaine Radford and Darlene Martin Radford. He was employed with Kimberly Clark as a forklift operator. Alvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing jokes on friends and family, but his greatest pastime was spending time with his family, especially his grandson.
Alvin, survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Radford of Aiken, SC., son, Alex Radford of Aiken, SC., daughter, Alaina Radford of Wrens, Parents, Rev. & Mrs. Alvin & Darlene Radford of Wadley, stepdaughters, Haley Womack and Destiny Wise of Aiken, SC., stepsons, Dakota Wise and Nathan Wise of Aiken, SC., grandson, Skyler Womack of Aiken, SC., brothers, Allen Radford (Diane) of Wadley, Andrew Radford (Diana) of Jacksonville, NC., Jason Radford of Wadley, sister, Angie Carpenter (J.D.) of Ivey, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Because of the unexpected nature of Alvin’s death, the family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made directly to Taylor Funeral Home, 401 West 8th Street Louisville, GA 30434 to help with expenses.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will gather at the family home at 3150 Old US 1, Wadley, GA 30477.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Louisville will be in charge of arrangements.
