Winnie J. (Kimball) Hartley
October 6, 1927 — March 2, 2011
Mrs. Winnie J. Hartley, age 83, of Highway 171 North, Louisville, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2011, in the Louisville Church of God, with Rev. David Severance & Rev. Bill Ansley officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nolan Fulghum, Jonathan Fulghum, Steve Brown, Wade Brown, Mitchell McGraw & Kirk Dinkheller.
A native of Millen, Georgia, Mrs. Hartley was a daughter of the late Mr. Dallis Madison Kimball & Mrs. Irene Taylor Kimball. She retired from nursing after more than 20 years of service and then worked for the Jefferson County Board of Education several years as a bus driver. Mrs. Hartley was a member of the Louisville Nazarene Church for 60 years and attended the Louisville Church of God.
Mrs. Hartley was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Louneill Brown, & Betty Jean Bragg, and is survived by her husband of 62 years Mr. A. Ralph Hartley of Louisville, daughters, Cynthia Wheatley & her husband Kenneth of Louisville, Marie Fordham and her husband Spud of Dublin, son Ed (Al) Hartley and his wife Barbara of Louisville, sister, Lizzie Royal of Newington, 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews & cousins.
The family would like to thank Silver Linings Personal Care Home in Stapleton for the special care given to Mrs. Hartley.
