Willie Bell Reese

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Willie Bell Reese, age 89 of Lincolnton Road, Thomson, GA who died Friday morning, December 11, 2015 in the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2015 in Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Al Kurtz and Rev. Tony Mimbs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson. GA.  Pallbearers will be: Winn Cox, Kim Williams, Tommy Thompson, Dean Reese, Robert Sutton, Jr., and J. D. Chapman.

Mrs. Reese was born December 25, 1925 in Glascock County, but had lived most of her life in Thomson.  She retired from Thomson Company after many years of service as a supervisor and had been a member of Mt. Zion since the age of 13.

Willie Bell was preceded in death by her parents; John & Nora Hawkins Allen and her husband; William Watson Reese, whom she married on November 9, 1940 brother, George D. Allen, sisters; Kathleen Reese, and Mary Emma Williams and is survived by sisters; Ester Thompson of Macon, Frankie Edwards of White Plans, & Zylphia (Zip) Reese of Gibson, many nieces & nephews.

The Reese family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
