Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the graveside inurnment service of Mrs. Virginia "Jeannie" Camille Woodward to be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 31, 2024, in Louisville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Woodward was the first baby born in Jefferson Hospital, Louisville, Georgia, on October 3, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Marie Cunningham. Jeannie was a Union Organizer for the United Steelworkers and also worked as an LPN and private duty nurse. She loved her dogs and was a huge animal activist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Woodward; a brother, Joe Cunningham; and a niece, Holly Marie Ray. Survivors include her sister, Peggy Burnett and husband Mickey; a brother, William Cunningham and partner, William Lawson; a granddaughter, Caroline Woodward; a niece, Kelly Hall and husband Chris; two great-nieces, Anna Hall and Kayla Ray; and two great-nephews, Jacob Hall and Benjamin Ray.
