Toni Walden

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Miss. Toni Lynn Walden, age 59 of Berrian Lane Louisville, died Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the Augusta University Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Bartow Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Davisboro. Pallbearers will be: Danny Beckworth, Jimmy Polan, Noah McNeely, Doug Ligan, Tom Henson, Hank Josey, Jack Ledger and Joel Henson. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Jefferson County Department of Family & Children's Services.

The Walden Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.

A native of Louisville, Toni had retired after 14 years of service from the Jefferson County Department of Family & Children's Services as a family independent supervisor and was a member of Bartow Baptist Church.

Toni was preceded in death by her sister, Tanya Walden and is survived by her mother and step father, Gloria and Frank Giddens of Tybee Island; father and step mother, J P and Eugenia Walden, Jr., of Bartow; brothers, Tracy and Robbie Walden, of Louisville and Tommy and Lisa Walden of Irvine, KY; step sisters, Regina Henson of Lugoff, SC, Wanda Gordy of Bartow, Brenda Josey of Milledgeville and Libby Alford of Montgomery, AL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bartow Baptist Church, 7634 Church Street, Bartow, GA 30413, or to New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, 3826 Heards Bridge Rd, Davisboro, GA 31018.
