Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services for Mr. Thomas Jefferson "Tom" Lampp, Jr., age 68, of Lampp Road, Gibson who died Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2020 at his residence.

Services to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2020 in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Rev. Ralph Kitchens officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services. Due to the family's concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is encouraged.

One of three children born to the late Jaber & Barbara Lampp, Tom was a lifelong resident of Glascock county. He was a graduate of Glascock County High School, a retired Machine Tech Engineer, and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ann Lampp Marsh, a nephew, Christopher Lee McZilkey and is survived by wife, Judy Kitchens Lampp, of Gibson, step-son, Steven Usry of Gibson, step-daughter, Sandra Snider Jackson, of Thomson, brother Lewis Lampp of Gibson, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins.

Because of the financial burden caused by his extended illness, the family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made directly to Taylor Funeral Home, 57 College Place, Gibson Georgia 30810 .
