Mrs. Thelma Ree Sellars Cox, age 80, of Holly Circle, entered into rest, Friday, April 1, 2011.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 4, in the Louisville Church of God with Rev. David Severance officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Fisk, Tim Smith, Dustin Harris, Kevin Harris, Rodney McGraw & Lester Smith.
A native of Washington County, Mrs. Cox was a daughter of the late William Kincher "Bill" Sellars & Annie Dell West Sellars. She was a homemaker and member of The Shepherd's Church in Appling, GA.
Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents, husband William L. Cox Sr., a son, Gary M. Cox and is survived by three sons and their wives: William L. & Betty Cox, Jr. of Augusta, John M. & Mott Cox of Louisville, and Larry R. & Onnie Cox of Waynesboro; sisters: Joann Smith of Fayetteville, & Jeanien Harris of Louisville; brothers: Richard Sellars and William "Billy" Sellars both of Sandersville, her grandchildren: Mary Blalock, Anna Baggs, Elizabeth Cox, Lawton Hickman, Rodney McGraw, and Dawn Price; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The Cox family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 3, at the funeral home.
