LOUISVILLE
Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Thelma T. Manning, age 83, of Marsh Road, Louisville, beloved wife of Mr. James L. Manning, who died Tuesday night, March 3, 2015 in the Jefferson Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 6, in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Manning officiating. Burial will follow in the Jefferson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Manning, Brian Mosley, Allen Hillman, Ricky Williams, Jerry Howell, & David Bullard.
A native of Bartow, Georgia, Mrs. Manning was a daughter of the late Robert Lee & Annie Lou Glisson Thigpen. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Edna Thigpen, Dorothy Thigpen, & Virginia Shelton and is survived by her loving husband of 64 years; James L. Manning of Louisville, son; Donald & Dorothy Manning, daughters; Jeraldine & Jerry Albea, and Cindy & Keith Mosley, all of Stapleton, sisters; Jewell Griswold of Mitchell and Jean Chalker of Hephzibah, brother; Hubert & Betty Thigpen of Ivey, GA, grandchildren; Michelle & John Manning, Melissa & Ricky Williams, Allen & Crystal Hillman, Brian Mosley & Jennifer Sasser, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, at the funeral home.
