Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mrs. Susan Lorena Stone White, age 91 of Savannah, formerly of Swainsboro, who died Monday morning, November 9, 2015. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in the Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Swainsboro, with Mr. Jerry Taylor officiating. A native of Turbeville, S.C., Susan was a daughter of the late Samuel Stone and Elizabeth Bertell McElveen Stone. She attended high school in Moncks, SC and later went on to become a Registered Nurse, working with Candler Hospital in Savannah for many years. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Russell Talmadge White and is survived by her brother; Joe Stone of Moncks Corner, S.C., sister-in-law; Mary Short of Wadley and a niece; Dianne Griffin of Savannah. Taylor Funeral Home, 401 W 8th Street, Louisville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
