Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Stephen Michael Dion, age 67, of Statesboro, who died October 6, 2025.

Service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 11, 2025, in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, Louisville with Mr. Mitchell McGraw speaking. The Dion family will receive friends immediately following the service on Saturday.

Burial will be in the Louisville City Cemetery.

Stephen was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on March 15, 1958, to the late Arthur L. Dion and Margaret P. Howie Dion. He grew up in Louisville and graduated from Louisville High School. He played football in school and loved the Green Bay Packers and the Georgia Bulldogs. He also loved playing golf and was an insurance agent with G & S Marketing.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sisters: Robin Lancaster of Thomson and Cheryl Machcinski of Dearing; nieces: Jessica Ylda (Greg), Margaret Snyder (Charles), and Amy Hoover and several great nieces and nephews.
