Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services for Mr. Stanley "Stan" Brinson Jones, age 66 of Vineland Road, Louisville, who died Friday, October 6, 2017.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 12, 2017 in the Louisville United Methodist Church with Rev. Peter Vermeulen officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

A native of Louisville, Stan was a son of the late Frank Edgar "Redbird" Jones & Margaret Lamb Jones. He owned & operated Apa's Place in Wadley, was a former member of the Louisville Jaycee's and a member of the Louisville United Methodist Church.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Bobbie Jo "BJ" Jones and is survived by his loving wife, Jane Jones of Louisville, son and daughter in-law, Brint & Rachel Jones of Louisville; grandson, Eli Jones of Louisville; sisters, Margaret Gay of Orlando, FL, and Cindy & Dale Williamson of Louisville; brother, Frank & Carol Jones of Grange, several nieces & nephews.

The Jones family request memorials be made to the Louisville United Methodist Church Building Fund, 301 West 7th Street, Louisville, GA  30434.
