Shirley Snipes

LOUISVILLE

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Shirley Snipes, age 79 of Louisville, formally of Gainesville, who died Friday morning, July 17, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev Hewell Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will be:  Joshua Lance, Bryan Roberts, Johnny Campbell, Chance Campbell, David Campbell and Chris Trigg.

A native of Phil Campbell, AL, Mrs. Snipes was a daughter of the late A. D. and Esta Bailey Campbell. She retired from Waffle House, and was a member of Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Gainesville, GA.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; John D. Campbell and Darold Campbell and nephew; Thomas Campbell, and is survived by daughters; Mary Snipes (Joseph Jacobs) of Statesboro, Tammy Adams (Steve) of Hoschton, Donna Roberts of Hawkinsville, sons; Keith Roberts (Denese Prater) of Gainesville, and Greg Roberts (Debbie) of Dawsonville, and brother; Rev. Hewell Campbell (Vickie) of Gainesville, 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, an number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 4:00 PM prior to services at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Taylor Funeral Home, 401 West 8th street, Louisville, is in charge of arrangements.
