Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mrs. Shirley Beckworth, age 72 of Edgehill Mitchell Road, Mitchell, Georgia who died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at her residence.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Beckworth Swinson Cemetery in Baxley, GA.
A native of Hutton IL Mrs. Beckworth had made her home in Mitchell for many years she was a daughter of the late Edward Rickett and Loretta Jones Rickett and was as a homemaker.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, and brother; Wayne Rickett and is survived by her loving husband of 55 years; Henry Beckworth and brothers; Bill Rickett and Lyle Rickett, sisters; Annie Jenkins, Barbara Moran, Betty McNab and Vera Kilsen, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Taylor Funeral Home, Gibson.
