Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Sherry D. Wilcher, age 63 of Clarks Mill Road in Louisville who died Wednesday evening in the Jefferson Hospital.

A native of Millen, GA, Sherry was one of five children born to the late Edward Lee Eastmead, Jr., and Elise Dickey Eastmead. She retired from Thermo King and was a longtime member of Josey Baptist Church in Bartow.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her mother, Elise Dickey Eastmead Williams of Davisboro, husband of 30 years Danny Wilcher of Louisville, sons, Eric & Laura Eastmead of Davisboro, Steven Wilcher, of Wrightsville, sisters, Beth Moore of Wadley, and Sonya Kirkland, of Summertown, brothers, Eddie & Dianne Eastmead, of Wadley, and Phil Eastmead, of Hogansville, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

The Wilcher family will gather at the residence on Clarks Mill Road in Louisville and will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon March 17, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday March 18, in the Josey Baptist Church with Pastor, Mike Jones and Rev. Joe Cheeks officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kelvin Hodges, TJ Moore, Rick McFarland, Donnie Smith, David Leonard, and Herbie Brett.
