Taylor Funeral home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Sadie Smith, age 91 of Clarkes Mill Road, Louisville, who died Friday evening, March 27, 2015 in the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Pendry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Walden's United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Andrew Bopp, William Bopp, Tyler Smith, Tanner Smith, C. J. Palmer and Alex Radford.  Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Richard Bopp, Erica Smith, Alaina Radford, John Thomas Palmer and Conner Palmer.

A native of Glascock County, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late Merrl and Lilian Chalker Reese.  She was a homemaker, child care provider and attended Bethel United Methodist Church in Gibson.

Sadie is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Donnell Albert Smith, son; Thomas Gordon Smith, brothers; James Reese, Bobby Reese and John Henry Reese and is survived by her son; Donnie and Kathy Smith of Stapleton, daughter in law; Radie Smith of Matthews, grandchildren; Tracy Bopp of Gibson, Eric Smith of Zebina and Deanna Palmer of Wrens, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Taylor Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to Taylor Funeral Home, Louisville.
