LOUISVILLE - Mr. William Howard "Rusty" Davis, Sr. age 71, of 1918 River Road, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 30 at the Louisville United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Stavely and Rev. Danny Yates officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Davis, Jr., Jay Davis, Glenn Poole, Robert Kohler, Andre Davis, and Jeff Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Nasworthy, Bill Hattaway, Kenny Flourney and Hubert Cheeks.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Davis was a son of the late William Wiley and Mae Wilkins Davis. He retired after 32 years from the GA State Highway Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment operator. Rusty was an avid fisherman and hunter and a dedicated Georgia Bulldog fan.
Rusty was preceded in death by his parents and a brother David (Smokey) Davis and is survived by daughters Sonya D Kohler (Robert) of Martinez, and Michelle D Poole (Glenn) of Wrens, son William Howard Davis, Jr. (Kimberly) of Ft. Jennings, OH, sister Sarah Davis of Orlando, FL, 8 grandchildren: Taylor Poole, Bobby Kohler, Smokey Poole, Makensie Poole, Jordan Poole, Dalton Davis, Destinie Davis, and Dominic Davis, 3 Aunts: Margaret Johnson, Martha Massey and Claudine Sharp, several nieces, 1 nephew and numerous cousins.

The Davis family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
