Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Kenneth Richard "Ricky" Gordon, age 64 of Mitchell who died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in the AU Medical Center, Augusta.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 in the Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery, Mitchell, GA with Rev. Wayne King officiating.
A native of Sandersville, Ricky was a son of Kenneth Eugene Gordon and Norma Kent Gordon. He was a heavy equipment operator and had worked for Howard Sheppard.
Ricky is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Joyce Reese Gordon and is survived by daughter, Rebecca Gordon of Kathleen, GA; brothers, Randy and Melanie Gordon of Byron, GA and Ronnie Gordon of Byron, GA; grandson, Cody Jordan of Washington, GA and niece, Melissa Gordon of Louisville, Ga.
The Gordon family will receive friends immediately following the service.
