Mr. Richmond Edward Clements, Sr., age 74, of Shepherdsville, KY, formally of Louisville died Thursday morning, July 25, 2013, in the Norton Audubon Hospital, KY.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday July 29, in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Charles Dennis officiating.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Clements was the son of the late James Richmond and Margaret Powell-Clements. He was a 1957 graduate of Louisville Academy, a retired assistant Terminal Manager for Allied Automotive, a member of F.O.E., American Legion 5710, Bullitt County Rod and Gun Club, Mason of Blue Lodge 155 F&AM, and a former member of the National Guard.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Carole Allen-Clements, sons Richmond E. Jr., James Alan, and Jonathan Carroll Clements, sisters Alice Davis, Verna Dennis, seven nieces and nephews.
The Clements family will receive friends 9:30 till 10:30 AM Monday prier to the graveside services at the funeral home.
