Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Richard Wayne Salisbury, age 65 of Russell Road, Wrens who died Tuesday evening, October 6, 2015 in the Charlie Norwood V.A. Medical Center in Augusta.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 9, in the Friendship Baptist Church, Mitchell with Rev. Rick Carver officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Salisbury was a native of Eminence, MO but had lived in Wrens for many years. He was a son of the late Ernest Dean Salisbury & Lillian Christine Shelton Salisbury. Mr. Salisbury was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from G.L.P. Corporation as a manger and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Mitchell.

Mr. Salisbury was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother; Chip Salisbury. He is survived by 2 sons; Steven Salisbury, of Gibson, and Chris Salisbury, of Hope, KS, brother; Dean Salisbury, of St. Louise, MO, 10 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

The Salisbury family will receive friend's 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
