Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services for Mrs. Reba Emily Black Fortner, age 75 of Old US Highway 1, Wadley, Georgia who died Thursday morning, July 3, 2014 in the University Hospital, Augusta, Ga.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 5, 2014 in the Louisville Church of God with Rev. David Severance and Rev. Kenny Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wadley City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernie Black, Adam Black, Nick Barber, Justin Barber, Steve Reagan and Devon Fortner.
A native and life long resident of Wadley, Mrs. Fortner was a daughter of the late Jessie Lee and Ruthie Lee Aldred Black. Reba was a homemaker and a member of the Louisville Church of God where she loved to sing.
Mrs. Fortner was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ray Black, and nephew Ray Black, Jr. and is survived by her husband R. E. Fortner, sons Raymond & Susan Fortner, David Fortner, grandchildren: Devon, Amelia, and Hannah Rose Fortner, brothers Ernest & Ellen Black, and Robert & Gloria Black, sister Jessie & Gene Williams, all of Wadley, sister-in-law Janice Black of Swainsboro, nieces and nephews: Ernie Black, Adam Black, Shannon Barber, Brenda Reagan, Sharon Williams and Charlie Brown.

The Fortner family will receive friends Saturday 12:00 till 2:00 PM prior to the service at the Louisville Church of God.
