Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. Randy Alan Moore age 64 of Clemmons, NC., formally of Wadley who died Thursday morning December 23, 2021, in the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021, in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Louisville. With Rev. Chris Shoemaker officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Dailey, Matthew Moore, Ethan Moore, Bob Birchfield, Brayden Moore, Craig Reavis, Terry Johnson, Eric Dixon, Roy Beam and Louie Howell. Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed.  The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.

A native of Wadley, Mr. Moore was the son of the late Harry Grayson Moore and Annie Jean Grimes.  He was a machinist for Ingersoll/Rand for many years.    One of his favorite things was being a Poppy to his grandkids while spending time fishing, watching ball games and dance recitals.  He also loved his gadgets and working on things.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife, Sara Jones Moore, Clemmons, NC., his son Kyle (Shannon) Moore of Dublin, his daughter Kelli (Chris) Brown of Matthews, grandsons Ethan Moore and Brayden Moore of Dublin, his granddaughters Kyrsten Brown and Adalyn Brown of Matthews and Kinsley Moore of Dublin, his brothers Buddy (Karen) Moore of Fort Valley, David (Judy) Moore of Wadley, Ronnie (Nan) Moore of Wadley and his sister Cathy (Bob) Birchfield of Louisville, and multiple nieces and nephews and many friends.

The Moore family will receive friends 4:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday prior to funeral services at the Funeral Home.
