Randall Lee Sexton

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and service of Mr. Randall Lee Sexton, age 70, of Mitchell, who died at his home on Monday, March 9, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, at Trinity Independent Church in Mitchell. Rev. Mary Griswell will officiate.

A native of Chamblee, Georgia, Randall was a son of Jesse and Gladys Evelyn Chadwick Sexton. He was self-employed in the construction field as a tile layer and was a big fan of sports, especially the Georgia Bulldogs.

Randall was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen; his parents; a brother, Alton Sexton (Carole); and is survived by his sister, Linda Henderson of Flowery Branch; brothers, Amon Sexton (Jan) and Windell Sexton, both of Mitchell.

Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
