Louisville, GA- Mrs. Polly Jones, age 75 of Fairlane Drive, died Saturday evening December 1, 2012 in the Glendale Nursing in Wadley.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Louisville Methodist Church with Rev. David Hibberts & Rev. Walter Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Brady, Barry Wren, Ronnie Jones, Joe Cheeks, Brett Sercey, Pee Wee Commingham, & Brent Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Rhodes, Jerry Josey, Bill Bragg, Clarence Henderson, & members of the Louisville Lyons Club.
A native of Jenkins County, Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late Bert & Eunice Williams Hendley. She had owned and operated Polly's Flowers & Gifts in Louisville before retiring and was a member of Louisville Methodist Church.
Miss Polly was preceded in death by her parents, son Richard McGraw, sister Rita Evans, brother Charles Hendley, granddaughter B.J. Jones and a great grandson Tray Davis and is survived by sons & daughter in-laws Mitchell & Nancy McGraw of Avera, Jason & Wanda McGraw of Louisville, step children Stan & Jane Jones of Louisville, Frank & Carol Jones VI, of Louisville, Margaret Ann Gay of Orlando, FL., Cindy & Dale Williams of Louisville, sister Jean Chester of Millen, brothers Jay & Pam Hendley of Millen, Lloyd & Renee Hendley of Nevils, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews & friends.
The family will be at the residence 1078 Fairlane Drive in Louisville, and will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, December 2 at the funeral home.
If so desired, memorials can be made to the Louisville Food Pantry.
