Pauline T. Chalker

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Turner Chalker, age 86 of East Main Street, Gibson, Georgia who died Saturday night in the University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 2, in the Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Rev. Bill Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in the Gibson Methodist Church Cemetery.

A native of Gibson, Pauline was a daughter of the late Charlie & Gertrude Sammons Turner. She was a 1945 graduate of Gibson High School and had worked as a sales clerk for K-Mart for more than 20 years.

Mrs. Chalker is survived by 3 daughters: Linda Tolbert of Fernandina Beach, FL, Blenda Chalker of Gibson, Freddie K. Chalker of Fernandina Beach, FL, a sister: Ponda T. Johnson of Warrenton, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

The Chalker family will receive friend's 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
