Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mr. Paul Wilson Cummins, age 85 of Old Mitchell Road in Gibson who died Sunday evening December 24, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

A native of Newport, KY., Mr. Cummins was a son of the late Sammie Paul Cummins and Vilia Mae Hargett Cummins. He was a long-haul truck driver for over 54 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorinda Alice Cummins, who died December 24, 2019, and is survived by daughters Rhonda S. Crews, Alice Y. Turner, and Connie M. Powers, all of Altoona, FL, Melinda D. Irby of Gainesville, FL, and son, Paul N. Cummins, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many neighbors, and friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Paul Wilson Cummins will be held later.
