Patrick "Pat" Wesley Vandiver, Sr.

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral arrangements for Mr. Patrick "Pat" Wesley Vandiver, Sr., age 66 of Bethany Church Road, Crawfordville, GA, who died Thursday, February 18, 2016.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, February 21,  2016 in the Raytown Methodist Church, Crawfordville, GA with Rev. Shane Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Corey Hart, Ricky Dingler, Henry Vandiver, Leroy Bryant, Roger Coile and Jim Edwards.

A native of Washington, GA, living most of his adult life in the Mableton, GA area before moving back to Crawfordville, Mr. Vandiver was a son of the late Alvin Vandiver and Robbie Lois King Vandiver. Pat was a shop superintendent for Greene County Public Works for 14 years, and was a member of the Eagles' Wings House of Prayer in Crawfordville.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Sammie Vandiver and sister, Martha Vandiver and is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Lunsford - Vandiver of Crawfordville, GA, children, Patrick Wesley Vandiver, Jr., (Charlotte) of Lakeland, FL, Amanda Smith (Joe) of Ballground, GA, David Lunsford (Laurel) of Jasper, GA, Daniel Lunsford (Jessica) of Blue Ridge, GA, sister, Judy Gibson (Stephen) of Washington, GA,; brothers, Johnnie King (Nancy) of Anderson, SC, Paul Vandiver (Gail) of Union Point, GA, Loy Vandiver (Joyce) of Louisville, TN, Jimmy Vandiver (Joy) of Rutledge, GA,; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Vandiver family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday in the church.
