Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Patricia M. Browne, age 84, of Louisville who died Saturday afternoon, October 19, 2024.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 25, 2024, in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Louisville with Mr. Mike Cofer officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday afternoon in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro with Mr. Jerry Taylor officiating.

A native of Statesboro, Pat was a daughter of the late Albert "Bish" Murphy and Kathleen Rushing Murphy. She was an English teacher with the Jefferson County Board of Education and a member of the Louisville Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church. She loved Georgia football, playing bridge, and going to the beach, but her greatest pastime was spending time with her family that she loved dearly.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years Thomas Harrison Browne, Jr., and is survived by her children: Patricia Browne Frye (Haywood) of Midville, Thomas (Tommy) Harrison Browne, III of Stapleton, Albert (Bert) Murphy Browne (Debra) of Atlanta, and Cynthia Browne Lewis of Columbus, Ohio; beloved grandchildren: Meagan Frasier, Tyler Lewis, Allissa Lewis,  Emma Browne, and Evan Browne; beloved great-grandchildren: Hayes Fraser, Kate Fraser, and Nova Ann Lewis; sisters Lynn Neville & Kathy Moore; cousins: John Murphy & Margaret Hunter, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Pat's care givers Ja'Kiria Grant & Michelle James for their love and care given to their mom.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday morning prior to the services at the funeral home.
