Nicholas Tarnow

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mr. Nicholas Shane Tarnow, age 21 of Griffin Street, Georgia who died Monday afternoon June 23, 2014.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 in the Magnolia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Roper, William Roper, David Swint, John Bales, John Bales, Jr., and Allen Crook.

Nicholas was a native of Augusta but had lived in Gibson for several years. He was a cabinet installer with Alan Crook cabinets.

Mr. Tarnow was preceded in death by his grandmother Deanie Swint, grandfather Leon Moore, grandmother Gerry Tarnow, great grandmother Orvelle Bales, and is survived by mother & step father, Linda M. and Sidney D. Swint of Gibson, father Kenneth Tarnow of Illinois, brothers Jeffery D. Davis of Gibson and Christopher A. Tarnow of Gibson, grandmother Bessie B. Moore of Avera, grandfather Raymond Tarnow of Illinois  aunt Kristine Roper of Avera, cousins Greg and Shannon Roper of Gibson, Alexis Roper of Martinez, William and Brenna Roper of Alabama, Amanda Roper of Alabama and Kayleigh Roper of Gibson.

The Tarnow family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
